Results of the 51st annual McGill High School Debating Tournament
 
Individual
 
1st Place - Andrew Morrison - Fountain Academy of the Sacred Heart
 
Andrew becomes the only person to repeat as the winner of the largest high school debating tournament in Canada.  The event had entries from 220 Canadian and American teams.
 
Two of our other students also placed well.  Sacred Heart School of Halifax students Aislin Flynn, although only in grade 10 was 26, and Basia Sowinski-Banfield (in grade 9) placed 45th.  Given the size of the competition, these are excellent placings.
 
Team
 
Andrew Morrison and Quinn Graham were 5th overall as a team.  Honourable mention goes to Aislin Flynn and Emily MacGregor who finished 19th (out of 110 teams).
