4-Year-Old Programme (Junior Primary)
The First Steps
Junior Primary is a special programme for four-year-olds. It has been designed for young, developing minds. Each student receives a solid foundation in the fundamentals of literacy and numeracy.Every day, children are involved in activities that engage them intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. Our philosophy, based on early childhood specialists such as Piaget, Vygotsky and Montessori, is to help children learn through play and structured activities with a focus on social development, independence and caring for others.
The day begins at 8:30 with the children and parents being welcomed in their classroom by teachers. The children have a supervised free play period until snack time, then the day flows from gym to music, outdoor play to story time, creative arts and crafts time and much more. The school day ends at 2:00 p.m. but our After School Care is available until 5:30 p.m.
