Sacred Heart School of Halifax Alumnae Association

The Alumnae Association was inaugurated in 1922 with two objectives in mind:

To foster loyalty and support for our Alma Mater
To preserve the sound principles of Sacred Heart education

Any former pupil of any Sacred Heart Convent or School of the Sacred Heart may become a member. Yearly dues are payable at the Annual Meeting in October or at anytime throughout the year.

The Halifax Alumnae Association is a member of the Canadian Association of Sacred Heart Alumnae (CASHA) and the international association of Sacred Heart Alumnae (AMASC).

The Alumnae Association supports the school by donating to:
  • bursary and scholarship funds
  • school prizes
  • advertising in the school year book
  • Robotics Club activities
  • annual giving
  • the Sacred Heart Summer Service Project held in Mexico
  • school fees for an AIDS orphan attending Sacred Heart School in Uganda
